Samsung’s Galaxy Book4 Pro is getting ready for an upgrade with the next iteration of the portable laptop rumored to feature Intel’s next-gen Lunar Lake CPUs. The upcoming Galaxy Book5 Pro (model ‘Samsung NT940XGK-DSD’) was spotted in the SiSoftware benchmark database by leaker @momomo_us on X.

The leak suggests that the Galaxy Book5 Pro will come with an 8-core Lunar Lake chip with Xe2 integrated graphics, promising efficient performance for thin-and-light notebooks like the Galaxy Book Pro. This shift to Lunar Lake processors is expected to enhance battery life and overall performance, making the laptop a strong contender in the market.

While the official release date for the Galaxy Book5 Pro is not confirmed, speculations point towards an early 2025 launch. The leak indicates that Lunar Lake CPUs may hit the market late in 2024, with full availability expected in 2025. Despite the early reveal, Samsung is likely to maintain its yearly cadence for introducing new models.
